Scouts visit to the Fire Station

Date: 10th Oct 2023 Author: Scout Websites

The Scouts visited Waterlooville fire station as part of their fire safety badge. After an informative briefing about fire the scouts took part in a question and answer session to check their understanding.

Some of the scouts then had a race to put on the fire safety equipment.

We ended the evening being able to use the fire engines pump and hose to jet the fire tower and various items. A really fun evening where every one learnt or refreshed their fire knowledge.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
