About Us

Located on the edge of the South Downs National Park in Hampshire, we are strong on traditional scouting skills from hiking and navigation to backwoods cooking and camping.

We meet weekly during term time at Hambledon Village Hall, although we can often be found outside during the summer months. We are supported by members of the community who allow us to use a local woodland for camping, scouts in their swimming pool, local farms to learn about where our food comes from and even sleeping overnight in the village church.

We have a Beaver colony for children aged 6 to 8, a Cub pack for 8 to 10½ years olds and a Scout troop for 10½ to 14 year olds. We are also part of Hawk district which also provide Explorers for those aged 14 to 18.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
