Family Camp – All sections, Parents and siblings

Date: 3rd Jul 2022 Author: Scout Websites

Hambledon run a family camp most years which allows parents and siblings to come to camp and experience scouting.
Activities are programmed through the weekend and everyone gets a chance to learn new skills. Last camp we made chimney cakes and learnt axe throwing, then went rafting in the lake.

No camp is a camp without a fire and a campfire sing song.

The weekend ends with a massive water fight with all getting involved – the old and the young.
A fabulous chance to spend time together as a family and introducing everyone to scouting and what it brings to young peoples lives.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
