Cub and Scout weekend camp June 2023

The cubs and scouts enjoyed amazing weather as we headed to the woods for a weekend of backwards camping. This was a first joint camp for a while and both units enjoyed spending time with each other and the Cubs learnt plenty of new skills.
Tents were erected and the Scouts showed off their skills and we validated the Scouts for their Axe and saw use, something the Cubs look forward to as they move to Scouts. The Scouts prepared and cooked all their food on open fires whilst the Cubs helped to prepare their food.
The Saturday evening we enjoyed a joint campfire where the Scouts taught the newer cubs some campfire songs and then had our own Glastonbury festival singing all their favourite pop songs.
