Flooding in Hambledon

As most of you are aware Hambledon has suffered flooding over the weekend, with some of the roads through the village closed to traffic. Leaders will be reviewing the situation throughout the week, so keep an eye on the web site, emails and texts to check if meetings have been moved or cancelled.

We do currently plan to run Beavers on Tuesday 21st January, but be aware there is no access to the village hall by car. Please park in Green Lane or Stewarts Green and walk to the hall. You will need wellies or you will have very wet feet, please take care as the water may be deep in places and bring a torch so you can spot the sand bags in the dark. Can everyone please bring a change of footwear and change out of wellies in the foyer.

On Thursday 23rd January, Cubs will take place in the Ashling Pavillion at St. George’s Park in Denmead, at the usual time. Please use the car park on Southwick Road.
